f**k. I made it up until like 10 minutes to go. Then I dozed off. I woke up and look at the tv and the Cowboys were all congratulating each other. I'll have to catch a replay to see how they came back for the win.
it is on livestream.com/nrl. You may need Chrome + Zenmate to watch it. Last epic finish like that I can recall was the Tyree catch in the superbowl.
The Australian Rugby League Commission has approved the implementation of a Central Command Centre for video referee reviews, starting in the 2016 season.
Great the game just got slower, after implementing this from the NFL, why dont they just introduce the 4qrts they've been sitting on the fence with, add helmets and pads and be over with it already.

They are saying it has the potential to halve the time it takes for Video referees to make a decision and help them make better decisions.. The ref is constantly sending reviews to the video refs already.. I don't see how it will have a negative impact?
Johnathan Thurston is rugby league's equivalent of Peyton Manning, he'll definitely go down as one of the greatest playmaker ever. A maestro playmaker with excellent vision, timing and accuracy within his ball skills (both passing and kicking). JT's story is very similar to Tom Brady's story. Every club scout said he was a decent player, but too small and not athletic enough (5'10, ~190lb), and essentially nearly every club didn't think he would be a good five-eighth/halfback (quarterback). He was essentially a bench player/back up playmaker at his old club, the Bulldogs, before the Cowboys signed him in 2005. Since 2005, he has been the most dominant playmaker in the NRL with numerous awards, including 4 MVP awards, and long list of accolades and other individual records. He basically set up a hail mary play in the final 10 seconds to tie the Grand Final and send it to overtime, and kick the winning field goal to win the game. Like Brady, JT's a very fierce competitor and a very good clutch performer, a comeback kid. This season he orchestrated about 15 wins from behind, including the Grand Final.

Anyone here watching the Superleague GF tonight? Leeds v Wigan, here's hoping for a good game
Didn't even realize it was on ... 2nd half already.. ?
Was a good game, came down to the wire with Leeds getting up by 2. Matty Bowen scored a solo try for Wigan, feel bad for him with JT winning the NRL and Mango losing his 3rd GF.
