Bloody beauty

Storm vs Eels = Cannon vs popgun

Embarrassing for the Eels but much better then the wooden spoon.

Just goes to show just how far ahead Storm are. Eels thrash Broncs (I realise they were well out of it after that night on the turps, but still) then are themselves thrashed the following week. Storm continue to be the benchmark.
Eels are on the upswing and clawing back credibility .. seems the "Hayne Curse" may be starting to whither. Happy for blokes like Peter Stirling , Ray Price and many more who bled blue and yellow.

Storm just so clinical and brutal at the same time. Whoever plays them in the final {barring a huge upset} will have to play out of their skins to have any hope
f**k Ricky Stuart and the Raiders. Hate that team.

I never thought I'd be willing on a Ricky Stuart coached team but I hope they beat the chooks next week.

Im just so happy the Storm won't be there...

Yeah mate, I've had a set against the Raiders for longer than I can remember why.

Will be a neutral observer for this year's GF.

It is going to be a big Yawn for me. I think I will go tend my tomatoes in the back yard at GF time.

I am personally intrigued by this matchup
The well seasoned chooks are tasty favorites while the ruthless / ball snatching Viking like Raiders come in as
complete underdogs according to the betting ranks
Never expected the Storm not to be there at all
Hope you guys enjoy the day
Cheers

The Raiders wont do it. They live in a public service town and nobody does any work there.

I've caught some of Australia's Rugby World Cup matches. Seem to have good depth.
I was wondering: are these guys second class citizens compared to NRL? Or could they hold their own in the other code?

Similar kind of games zonkers but there are huge differences when you really get into the nitti gritti
But yes,,, a lot of players swap codes as there is a similar skillset
Rugby Union is the preferred sport of the private schools and more a worldwide game . So could be seen as a more upmarket game where as NRL is the game of the working class . That is only my perception and sport can reach all levels of peoples lives
Grand final NRL nearing kickoff
Hope some of you guys get to see it
Cheers
Raiders are right in this at the half.

Sorry Zeal.
Meh Easts won. What a surprise zzz zzz
Didn't watch a single minute of it.

I watched about 30 seconds at the end just to see who won and what the score was. Boring teams boring Grand Final.

What are people's thoughts on the two controversial issues of the GF?

The raiders had plenty of chances to score but the roosters D was very impressive.

Very had to hear a changed call (from 6 again to last) with crowd noise and as a player you've made your decision to run the ball to setup the next set.

The other call for me which has to be looked at is when the charge down ricocheted off the roosters player and is deemed a roosters feed.
That rule definitely has to be changed.
