NRL Rugby League, General Discussion.

Just had a talk from the Dolphins CEO and apart from him talking very fast I picked up that they modeled their jerseys and kit form the 49ers. I might have to change my team. Well at least have them as my second team.
He also recalled the time the Denver Broncos came over to see the Brisbane Broncos operation when he worked there.
I asked him why did they drop from their name Redcliff or not go with a region such as Morton Bay or North etc. He said to grow it based on the a wider non specific fan base who want to identify with the Dolphins. They do however cover North Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. They will also be to first non artificial Queensland club ie they already existed and were preparing for the last 30 years to join the NRL.
They are also in a better state than most of existing clubs.

This is right in your backyard Joneo.

He is still guilty of being an idiot. There is a team in the Gong that some ex NRL player is being charged for drug trafficing that will need a replacement. Maybe he has connections?

There is a thread already, all 290 pages of it here.

Mods could combine the 2 since one was just focused on NRL but they are the same sport. I am all for it as Super League is is interesting too.
