Marreese Speights and Ian Clark are still possibilities to re-sign with the Warriors at the minimum, I'm told.
I just can't see another team not offering Mole Mole Mole more money than the minimum the Dubs can still offer. Especially after showing his longer range this year.
He's probably weighing more money versus "stay where I've had the two best years of my career with a team that knows how to use me, lets me shoot wide open jumpers all day and take charges and rebound a little and maybe have a chance to (blow a) dunk."
Really hope Mo comes back. Will make up for Barbosa leaving. Hope we don't sign Allen there's gotta be someone a little younger who hasn't been retired for two years that can stroke wide open 3 pointers, cut and play a little D who will sign for the minimum. Although I do think Clark could potentially be that guy if he continues developing.

Martin would interest me. Prince not so much

Prince has definitely lost a step, but Martin can play another 10 years with him being a three point specialist.

Of the roster spots remaining, I don't think Prince at this stage of his career would be a good addition. Martin, well, we know he can score and he could do that effectively off the bench...not sure about his D, though, and if he would warrant a roster spot considering what other options may be available (and, would he take the veteran's minimum?). I like that they brought back Clark, especially at that min. salary. If he can continue to improve and hit those perimeter shots with regularity, he could be a key G off the bench. That playoff game in Houston where the Warriors were down Curry...the game where the Rockets won on Harden's last-second jumper...Clark was really asserting himself in that game and even driving to the hole some. Now that he's got some playoff game experience and some more confidence, I'm really hoping he'll get better and better.

lol I dont know about 10 since he is 34. However, I do think he can play for another couple of years at a good level. If he would take the minimum I would bring him in.

Was being sarcastic. Would rather bring in Martin than say Allen who plays no kind of defense.

Martin doesnt play much D either to be honest. But he can still play which is something I am not sure Allen can still do. There isnt much out there at SG so Martin would be a good add.

Barbosa was known to be a poor defender in Phoenix, and while he wasn't stellar he was at least competent on D in his role. Maybe the same could be true for Martin.

At least Martin can still play a little defense. I'm worried about Allen tripping over his cane.

A Top 3 player in the NBA, Durant, just comes over to the Warriors after nine years with his previous team...all the things that must be going through his head yet he thinks to reach out like this to a rookie on his new team:
Adam Johnson @AdamJNBA 4h4 hours ago Warriors rookie Patrick McCaw said Kevin Durant text him a few days ago. "He said if I need anything he's going to be there for me."

This may have already been posted here - Warriors first Summer League game is this Saturday, July 9 at 7:30 pm vs. the Spurs on ESPN2. I think McCaw is playing...will watch to see how he looks along with guys like Carter, Ndiaye, Kuzmic (improved?), etc.
