The final spot will go to a SG. I think it will be either a guy who can drain 3s like Kevin Martin or a strong defender.

McCaw looking great again in the first half. Another great job by our scouts and management.

Or maybe a guy a la Clark last year to compete with a couple vets.

He looked really good. His game is impressive, you can see how he makes an impact in many ways. Very active defensively and offensively he's a pretty good shooter and ball handler.

Mccaw-possible steal and will be groomed to replace Iguodala as the team's defensive stopper if he continues to develop. Iguodala can mentor him. Show him the ropes on how to play in this league. Another gem found by our team.
Varejao-just a band aid and veteran presence until our rookie Jones is ready to go. Scary that our rim protectors is depended on him and Pachulia.

Don't get ahead of yourself regarding Mccaw. He looks pretty good but wait first till he plays on the big league. Lol Iggy's replacement are you serious. Don't get ahead of yourself. He is too small to guard any small forward. He will probably guard the 2 spot but I don't think he will be good as Iggy defensively.

Oh I know what you mean. I said if he continues to develop not only basketball wise but also once his body starts filling up and maturing. To me, he seems like he has the tools to become a very good player defensively. If he has the mental make up to work and learn (and from I read from everybody, he's all ball) then he has the chance to succeed in this league. If we're signing Durant to a massive contract next year and Curry after, we've got to hit and develop our drafted players as we might not be able to sign any decent free agents to fill out the rest of the rosters. Also, Isn't Igoudala 32 years old and a free agent after next year? Will we able to afford him after signing Durant? Will he take a low offer? If we end up tying up most of our money to our core 4, I'm afraid we can't afford to add any decent free agents after how much some of these free agency class got paid this year. Kids like Mccaw will need to step in to fill those voids. So yes, he MIGHT replace Igoudala not because he's that good but more of a necessity due to the future cap situation.Originally posted by nothing03:Originally posted by frankieuc68:Mccaw-possible steal and will be groomed to replace Iguodala as the team's defensive stopper if he continues to develop.
