I give Looney more of a shot to contribute than Jones. If healthy, maybe he can get some minutes as a backup 4 or maybe even at the 5. Backup C situation bothers me.

I dont see anyway that Looney can play the 5. I think he is way too skinny and just would get pushed around. Jones might be get a look later in the season but he will need a lot of minutes in Santa Cruz before that ever happens.

The Dubs will be fine at PF with West coming off the bench but I agree that backup C is their biggest concern.

Yeah, Looney at the 5 is probably a stretch. I had a heard he added a substantial amount of weight, just don't know how much. He did have a reputation as a strong rebounder and brings some athleticism that Pachulia and Verejao don't have.

I figure Draymond will continue to get minutes at the 5 when we go small, and down the stretch with the super death lineup.

Amen.

Happen to have KNBR on yesterday when Rod Brooks was emotionally breaking the news. Thoughts and prayers with Bob and his family as well. He mentioned she passed away from Pancreatic cancer, hit pretty close to home as I lost my mom to Pancreatic cancer back in April. It's an awful battle to watch a loved one go through.

I was just referring to seeing them in action since they've both been hurt and missed summer league.
