Westbrook, Durant, James, Griffen. Ridiculous to even think its a 2 man race after a week or two of the NBA season.

Drummond is above all those guys right now anyways. If he keeps doing what he's doing and the Pistons keep winning he'll end up being Curry's most serious competition.

Again, they have played 7% of the season. Drummond amd the Pistons have been impressive so far but neither are going to keep up the pace they have set to this point. Lets see where they all stand in Feburary/

True I just want to see him get more recognition. It still seems like he's not getting the notoriety he should be so far.
Team success has a lot to do with the MVP award, so unless the Pistons outclass the Cavs in the east and teams in the West, Drummond has no chance, even if his stats are amazing. Right now, it's just a feel good story about a young player breaking out. Let's not get too ahead of ourselves by putting him in the MVP conversation.

If they're a top 4 seed and he's putting up over 20 and around 14 boards a game they're gonna give him consideration.
Bad Boys tonight... Drummond has been great and Reggie Jackson was out of his mind yesterday vs Blazers. Warriors beat Pistons in their two games last year but they were on the ugly side, Pistons did a real good job on Curry both times. I think first game it was Green and second game Thompson that picked up the slack.

But it is second game of road B2B for Pistons, so that could work against them, and chance Warriors just run them to death and win by 15-20. But if Pistons have their legs and/or Warriors come out flat like they did vs Kings, could be ugly slugfest.

Exactly which is why I felt Anthony Davis was being rushed as an MVP favorite too soon.

lol. The West is way too tough for any team to win 70 games.

Its fun to be optimistic. But in reality only 1 team in NBA history won 70+ games in a regular season and that team had Michael Jordon. If this team wins 62 games it will have to be considered a very nice season going into the playoffs.

As much as I like the guy as a player and a hometown boy, Damian Lillard might be the worst defensive point guard to ever play the game. Seriously. He is Steve Nash status. Doesn't surprise me that Jackson went off on him, because Dame would have trouble guarding a mannequin.

I expect us to roll tonight. 25 point lead when the starters come out of the game for good.
