Golden State Warriors 2015-16

Rome asked West whether Warriors fans were the same, different, or "frankly better" than the notoriously huge Lakers fan base, and West did not hesitate in the slightest to confirm that the Roaracle blows Staples away.

"Oh, much better than LA fans, OK? They don't ever leave the game," West said. "Once we moved into Staples Center, our fan base changed, I thought. It's a completely different kind of fan than Los Angeles. Los Angeles has a lot of corporate fans there, whole different people sat in different seats. You can go up to Oracle right now and you'll see the same fans in the same seats every night. The fans in Los Angeles are great, but I've never seen fans like this here."

Sounds familiar.......like a certain stadium in Santa Clara.

I'm going to Lakers/Dubs in January and I guarantee it'll be empty if they aren't playing well by then.

That was a good read
Question for you guys...

I've been to Oracle a few times and have always sat up in the nosebleeds or lower level last row behind the basket (baseline). Think sections 107/108.

I'm looking at getting tickets to a game in a couple weeks and am debating Sections 111, 110, 105, 122, 121, or 119. Basically, lower level either baseline or corner view. I've never sat in the corners so Idk if the viewing angle is necessarily better.

Wanted to pick your guys' brain and see what more seasoned Oracle folks thought?

I actually don't mind the corners.. definitely better than behind the backboard.. and cheaper than sideline

Yes. Losing a championship coach is always going to hurt some. I just hope he isnt out too long.

Yes...if it meant nothing to have a HC at practice and games then they'd probably all telecommute. I would think he will still be regularly consulting with the coaching staff and players...but you just don't remove arguably the greatest 1st-year coach EVER and assume his presence won't be missed.

That said, the Warriors might be able to "talent" their way through it for a short period, but if it ends up being a more extended absence (let's say he misses first 2 months, doesn't come back until January) I could see where maybe some cracks form and they struggle to a degree. Of course it's possible the opposite happens, that Walton proves to have some bonafide HC chops and the team really rallies behind him and they don't skip a beat. But I'd prefer to not test that theory...get well soon, Coach.

I hope he's ok, sounds like what happened to him during the surgery was very serious.

The Warriors have a great roster and strong organization, and I think they will be fine if he's not out too long. But who knows?

anyone going tomorrow?
