Kobe spent this entire season laughing and shaking hands, acting like he didnt just spend his entire career being a selfish, arrogant a-hole that wanted no part in being friends with anybody. THATS the embarassment. At least go out the way you carried yourself for your entire career. Now he just looks like he wanted to be a d-bag to everyone for 20 years, but then save face during his goodbye tour.

He was a great player, but thats about it.

MJ was the best two I've seen but Kobe is right there right close to him. The only difference was MJ had a strength and hand size advantage and he was more disciplined offensively. Kobe was more skilled with the ball though all in all. Kobe did more the further you got from the basket. MJ was the better leader but Kobe showed deference to Shaq where I'm not sure MJ would've. Kobe is a God of the game now no matter what some here may say

He was a great player, but thats about it.

I can't believe we trashing Kobe ... Tonight! He's a man. He's not perfect but he's one of the best there ever was. He has always been mule headed stubborn and apt to go it alone from what I can see. With his parents to his coaches to his teammates yet he was able to defer to Shaq for three chips. Then once Shaq and Phil left he got humbled and he came back better for it and got two more chips as the alpha. Kobe grew up dude. Maybe not a model of perfection but he made a transition and he should be celebrated for all he's done as an athlete. He gave himself completely to the game for our entertainment. I'm thankful

I never debate anything until someone starts taking things too far. Kobe scoring 60 tonight was circumstancial. The outcome didnt matter, and it was a career sendoff. Its the least impressive 60 pt. game of all time, because it was an exhibition. There was no reason for Utah to even put Favors and Gobert out there.

As far as Trevor Story goes, people can never just take it for what it is. A kid having a hot start in a couple of hitters parks. Someone has to start going overboard and talking about HR records.

Kobe was great maybe a top 10 player all time but I have to disagree with almost everything you said about comparing him to MJ. There is nothing Kobe did better than MJ, literally nothing although Kobe patterned his game after MJ in a lot of ways. Kobe wasn't more skilled with the basketball, when MJ ran point back in the late 80s because the Bulls needed it he averaged a triple double. Better passer and rebounder and was ferocious going to the rim in the early years.

Remember that hand checking was allowed, fouls were a lot harder and defenses were geared towards stopping him and they still couldn't. Kobe never shot over 50% in a season, not even close actually. Sorry but you can't even compare them. MJ was a way better shooter, Kobe is a great shot maker and makes very difficult shots but he's a volume scorer.
