Most teams without a defensive C give up a lot of points (100) in today's NBA. They just usually have a C to compensate and they score more points. Ya its definitely a need, but talking about just those 4 alone on D, thats not a terrible group. There is a ton of length there. DRuss is tall/long, J clarkson what he lacks in length he can make up for with athleticism/effort, Ingram you know, and Randle can develop into a decent PF D guy. He's got the tools. We'll see.

What do you think about the Lakers trading their #2 pick to the Celtics for all of the Celtics picks to draft Buddy Heald, Taurean Prince & Thon Maker?

It's probably crazy, but that would make a great core of 7-8 guys for the future.

Lol this. Detroit is certainly going to give him max offer.

Whiteside makes sense. He has a baggage and Heat may not offer him max deal. But, Drummond is going to sign a 1year deal with Detroit (worst case scenario for Pistons) or a max offer with Detroit (most likely).

Give Drummond an incentive laden deal ... 1 mill per made free throw. I believe I team just might come out ahead in that bargain

just jumping in here

this is probably the best outcome for simmons career imo.

comes into the league, goes to philly with a bunch of young prospects and a coach who he is pretty familar with. gets to ply his trade and develop without the la spotlight until his rookie contract is up and then can go be the star in LA (likely scenario) once walton has devolped that team into a contender.

im a philly fan so would rather he play out his career here but cant see it happening
