I don't even know how to address your comment. Friend, you should not say such things. Mozgov is a mediocre big man. He's older than Roy Hibbert. Cannot run the floor. Cannot space the floor. Is an overrated rim protector. Does not compliment Randle at all.

If you convert the numbers, he basically got the Bogut deal. The numbers aren't really RIDICULOUS. It's that on night one of FA someone in the Lakers brass decided that Mozgov was going to be our #1 priority. WITH BIYOMBO STILL OUT THERE. MAHINMI. WHAT.

I don't even, I can't. I don't know. Just give Jared Dudley and Evan Turner max deals and end my life why don't you.
Meh. This deal is the new $10-12 million a year deal. After next year it will be the equivalent of the current $8-10 million a year deal. NBAers are about to start making stupid money and scrubs are gonna get paid like this. Average players are about to get $20+ million a year like it's nothing. Kent f*CKING Bazemore is getting $20 million a year. That's a 12-5-2 player. lol

I'd like to see how him and russell work the pick and roll. I also like his aggression on the boards.

Getting experience and height. It's a decent deal the way NBA $$$ are increasing.
Mozgov hardly played in the finals. Bleh.

Exactly, massive over payment.
I think Mozgov is ok as a player but THIS is the Lakers move on Day 1 of free agency? And 64M? Wow
Damn, even in the new age the Mosgov was surprising. Insane that the Buss kid has really change the rep of the Lakers. Never in our lifetime have some guys not met w/ the Lakers. Crazy.

He had unsuccessful knee surgery last off season. That's why he fell off so hard last season. He needs to recover from that and he can be serviceable. In no way am I excited about this signing or the amount, but it is what it is. This is what guys are gonna get paid now in the nba.

I think the Lakers realized they weren't going to get any star to come to their team so they jumped on and overpaid Mozgov. Until they get their kids playing real well and getting to or near the playoffs it will be very difficult to get stars to come there. As we have seen, great players on good teams are just not too likely to leave and if they do its to get to teams that can win a title.

Yeah I understand that. A big man with bad knees is just something that I'd wish the Lakers would shy away from if they're going to throw around money. Especially after Bynum.
