Jordan was 25 before he could figure out how to get out 1st round of playoffs. No way he even makes it to 2007 or 2011 NBA finals let alone outscore someone lol

Had he learned to trust his teammates earlier in his career and passed the ball more instead of chucking - maybe he wins a series or two before 25.

Lol

Jason f**king Terry and Parker lolz

Lol 1-9 without Pippen and below .500 in regular season lolz

2011 greatest choke of all time , just what a GOAT resume should have

5th leading scorer in the finals lol

Funny to me that someone can be so obsessed with 1 player that they will actively badmouth Michael Jordan as a player 🤣

I suspect LBJ backers, didn't watch MJ when he was active, no offense, but some ppl are younger generation..

I don't understand how the debate is LBJ / Jordan. Should be LBJ / Kobe and Kobe wins.

Yeah Lebron wins in longetivity and stats (can anyone say Kareem is the GOAT over MJ with a straight face?) but Jordan was like what a 10 time scoring champ and has the highest scoring average in NBA history? He was also a 9 time NBA all defense 1st team (vs. Lebron's 5). Lebron was just never the killer that the alpha dog needs to be that MJ was (and even Kobe) when the stakes were highest. That killer instinct was born of a desire to always win at all costs. MJ 6-0 in the NBA Finals with 6 NBA Finals MVPs. Lebron doesn't have this mentality.

For some context, Jordan was 0-6 in the playoffs (without Pippen) against the 86 and 87 Celtics. The 86 Celtics were (and still are) considered one of the best teams ever. They were so good that year that Magic and the Lakers pussied out against the Rockets to avoid them in the Finals. Yet Jordan had some of his highest scoring playoff games against those Celtics including his infamous 63 point game. Pippen and Jordan were also curb-stomped by the Pistons for three straight years before finally getting over the hump. Meanwhile Lebron was cruising through a s**t-sorry EC. I'll give him a pass in 2007 and this year, and against the Durant-infused scumbag warriors but there's no excuse for losing to the Mavs in 2011 with a loaded roster and also putting up a dud against the Spurs for an encore performance in 2014.

darn straight. the question used to be who will the next Jordan be. history gave us the answer, Kobe. He had that mentality, mamba mentality. His game even looked like Jordan's game. LBJ more in the Magic style of play imo. Should compare LBJ to Magic.

I really was hoping Lebron would have more ships than Kobe (nothing against Kobe , but hated the Lebron vs Kobe discussions )

Kobe fans were right .

Some more context - maybe have a winning record in reg szn - so you can avoid Celtics in rd 1.

Great desire to win at all costs but never won a series against a team that was better than his lol ok

Dang how the f**k did they allow 30-52 to goto the playoffs? Only 23 teams back then, and only 11 in the eastern conference. Yikes.

Yep, that's right. I know the debate is GOAT but yes LBJ compares highly to Magic more than anyone else.
