because it's a ridiculous statement. Lol. LeBron no matter what team he's on gets to the finals every year. best player in the NBA still. Durant an easy #2, for now.

Durant > Lebron in the finals. And it's not even close. So right now Durant is the best.

Bout to get swept....

by a team that was stacked even before Durant. too bad Durant doesn't have to play 45+ minutes to even have a chance at winning. if only LeBron had that luxury once in a while, lol

You mean like pretty much every year he's cakewalked through the weak East with his own overpowered team around him that he personally constructed?

he cake walks through the weak east on any team because, he's LeBron f**king James. Lol

Really? His first stint with Cleveland he went to just one final and he got knocked off every year before and after from the playoffs. It wasn't until he went to super teams like Miami that he started to win it all. You fail.

Except it is close.

Durant: 34, 10, 6

LeBron 32, 12, 10

GS is the far superior team though and CLE just doesn't have an answer. GS has better scorers, better playmakers, more creativity, higher basketball IQ (although Zaza and McGee bring down their overall average ).

how many finals has durant been to? Lol. when LeBron left cleveland Miami was just putting it all together. GS has been in the finals the past 2 years and has already had it's team set. Durant just had to walk in and do his thing. doesn't make Durant the best all of a sudden. and it's a lot closer then you think lol

Bashing Lebron's basketball ability and performance in this series is silly. The guy is an absolute stud who has to do so much during the game for his team. I dont like the guy at all but he is still the dominant player in the league in my opinion. At his age he should get about 5 more minutes of rest than he is getting which would make him better in the 4th.

I still dont understand why someone is just a Lebron fan and not a fan of the team but that doesnt take away from his greatness.

Durant is all of a sudden the best player in the NBA because he joins a GS team that's already a powerhouse, and enough to not get blown out while sitting on the bench. big difference between the 2 teams. LeBron's the only reason cleveland has a chance. Durant could sit for a whole half and the score would be close, lol. fail.

it explains the value that he adds to the game for people like me. and don't have an opinion in that debate. just know that LeBron is the best player in the league right now. but championships are what matter, not MVP's. and LeBron still has a long way to go.

Agree with this. It's like Blindfury being strictly a crazy Kap fan and not a 49ers fan.

maybe if he could carry teams the way LeBron can that would actually make sense

Where's he going that he hasn't already been? Does it really matter at this point in time? He's been playing in the NBA since he graduated from high school 14 years ago. IMO Lebron is a top 5 player of all time, and I'm guessing most BB fans will rank him in the top 10. Durant? Maybe he'll end his career in the top 15-20 but he has a long way to go in order to make that kind of lasting mark.
