But some of the things on Sims list I cannot get behind as "moments." (i.e. "all around assault on OKC to win his 1st ring"....because that is NOT a moment....or "his 4th QTR performance vs SA in game 6 in 2013 that put Allen in position to attempt and hit a game winner. 16 or 19 points being down double digits" because NO ONE remembers any of that. People only remember Ray Allen's shot, because THAT was the moment of that series)

People who don't care for LeBron only remember Ray Allen's shot. LeBron was absolutely dominant in that 4th QTR to single handily bring them back down by double digits to start.

If you're a casual fan - then yes...you'll just remember the Ray allen shot. If you want to really analyze - watch the 4th quarter. He was absolutely a beast.

Plus, shot that sealed the win in game 7 was big time too.

Game winner against Indy too.

The reason they were down double digits was because LBJ was non-existent for the first three quarters. He was terrible, just brutal. Then he definitely came alive in the fourth quarter....until the final three minutes where he had 3 turnovers and only hit one shot. The one shot he hit came off a long rebound where he bricked a three so badly that it didn't even draw rim and bounced off the glass and hit someone in the head so hard that it came all the way back out to LBJ at the three point line.

The final sequence was where he bricked another three, but due to Popovich losing his mind and subbing out Duncan, that left Tony Parker battling Bosh for the rebound and then the ball gets tapped back to Ray for a miracle three.

If Ray doesn't hit the ultimate bailout shot there then everyone remembers that LBJ lost another Finals because he had three turnovers in the final three minutes and went 1-4 in the final three minutes of that game. Missed FTs and Popovich's ridiculous decision to bench Duncan helped his legacy out tremendously there.

He's nowhere close to MJ in terms of legendary playoff/Finals moments, and he's currently getting destroyed on defense in this Finals despite stuffing the stat sheet.

Skip's hate for Lebron is truly irrational.

Which he cant do because he is not just a common fan.
so can they come BACK?

I don't think they can against this team.

We will find out in game 3 though.

You're only allowed to jock LBJ when he runs through the garbage East with his own version of a superteam. You are allowed to proclaim him GOAT when he beats up on a tomato can Boston Celtics squad led by a 5'9" shoot-first PG who then gets injured so that the Celtics don't even have an All-Star player on their roster to go up against LBJ/Kyrie/Love.

You're not allowed to discuss what happens to LBJ when he runs up on teams from the vastly superior conference in the Finals.
Not gonna bite.

After what he did last year - I don't have to defend him. His resume speaks for itself.

I enjoy the fact that LBJ's greatest achievement was made possible by the pussified NBA issuing a ludicrous suspension and the Ws best rim protector missing the final 2.5 games of the series.

He already is. 3-4 in Finals. MJ was 6-0.
