College Football Thread

Getting destroyed today, oh well
Civil War game happening right now. Seems a little early in the season for such a rivalry game. Go Ducks!
Maybe one day the college field hash marks will be the same width as the NFL.
lol Florida St refuses to admit DJ sucks ass.

Impressive.
Travis Hunter is the Ohtani of football
And another one outside of that UNLV dude who sucks ass.... College football is quickly becoming garbage.... Players are now playing a few games and if they aren't happy they are redshirting.

USC DL and former 5-star recruit Bear Alexander to redshirt the rest of 2024

I don't see him how other see him ( to me is closer to a possession WR in the NFL then a game changer), but his game is maturing really well. Him finding the soft spot in the zone was a really heady play....

He Is turning into this ultra aware, very heady target.....dude has some real savant to his game

I see him playing on the defensive side of the ball in the NFL; time will time.

I hope so....

He had yet another Pick, that he knew the play on...he left his main running up the side line, and rocketed at least 10 yards to undercut someone else's player to make the interception.

Dude has truly rare closing speed, and intuition.

At the college level, he has some of that Dion on the 49ers feel to him. Going at him is risky.....he is not a Dion level cover guy (that I have seen), but he has some of that Rod Woodson thinking man's game to him, and rare closing speed to make a play.

I don't think he has Dion Sanders "bait the QB, because I am bored" level of closing....but the dude is legit, and he is playing really smart football in the two games I have watched this year. He is clearly maturing his game nicely.....
How is Carson Beck so elite? Number 1 pick? LOL. He's awful at reading the field. He telegraphs everything. But he's "great" because he's 6'4" 220 lbs. This is how teams mess up. They pick physical stats. Instead of between the ears like Purdy. I'm not seeing anything great there.
