Texas to beat Arizona State in the quarters, but lose to Oregon who would have beaten Ohio State.
Penn State to beat Boise, Georgia to beat ND, although I have my doubts about this one. Georgia to beat Penn State and Oregon to win.

Bound to be wrong, of course!

I'll pick the first round to start :

Texas
That team from Columbus that shall not be named
Penn State
Notre Dame

Winners

first round:
Texas
Tenn
SMU
ND

second round:
ASU
Oregon
SMU
Georgia

third round:
Oregon
Georgis

champ:
oregon

edit:
and I'm tempted to take Clemson to upset Texas

I really don't get why people think teams that beat nobody are good.

what's Texas best win?
notre dame?
penn state?

a lot of mirage because best teams didn't play each other in conference

Travis Hunter won the Heisman [Commttee] Vote, while Jeanty won the fan vote.
I guess the committee vote is the one which counts most, seeing as it's the vote
that receives the trophy ... then again, I guess it's about your POV.

Results:
  1. Travis Hunter (Colorado) - 552 1st-place votes = 2,231 points
  2. Ashton Jeanty (Boise) . 309 1st-place votes = 2017 points
  3. Dillion Gabriel (Oregon) - 3rd place = 1,750 votes
  4. Cam Ward (Miami) - 4th place = 1,500 votes
The above 4 players were the invitees to New York

Others who received votes:
  • Cam Skattebo - (Arizona State)
  • Bryson Daily - (Army)
  • Tyler Warren - (Penn State)
  • Shedeur Sanders - (Colorado)
  • Kurtis Rourke - (Indiana)
  • Kyle McCord - (Syracuse)

Should have been Jeanty.

Dont think I've seen college RB that dominant since Barry Sanders. Imo Jeanty got screwed and lost to the media hype for Hunter.

Yep. Happy days of Sanders, Roger Craig, Thurman Thomas, Emmitt Smith. When running backs used to be picked in the 1st round!
This was the helmet Navy used last night against Army. The design is in honor of the naval aviation squadrons who have used the insignia since 1943, the latest being VFA-103.

Personally I think a lot of weight should go to
1) are they the team mvp? (No, Shadeur sanders is)

and

2) in a 12 team playoff format, the winner should need to lead his team to playoffs
I don't entirely disagree, certainly not with point 1. But point 2 means that only players in playoff teams are eligible. Now I know that for the most part, this is how it usually turns out but I would be upset to see that it was formalised.
