BYU's pass rush won't allow the plays he's calling time to develop. Better pass-pro, or quicker hitting plays are what's needed.
So far, this is not the game I hoped it would be ...

Shurmur is awful

If I am not mistaken in two seasons coach Prime has not defeated a ranked opponent.

Only once, #23 Cincinnati Bearcats (34-23, 2024 season)

Yeah the truth is Colorado on the field is average team. Probably somewhere between #25-40 in the country. BYU should be around #10-12 and got in over SMU if people weren't obsessed with losses

5th best in big 13 (asu, byu, Iowa state, Kansas state). And they'd lose a rematch vs Baylor

BUT Colorado was the worst power conference team west of the Mississippi for a decade plus. So he deserves props

Prime time did a really good job

now the big test is can he do it without Shadeur. I always thought year 3 is the big test

You know ESPN was hurting last night when their announcers had to mention BYU during the game lol.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm real iffy on Shumur, so …
Hopefully, with 2 highly regarded QBs incoming, in Kaidon Salter and Julian Lewis, the Buffs can continue to take the next step.
Won't be easy, that's for sure!

Wow, this South Carolina vs Illinois game is crazy. The Illini coach continues to abuse the rules as he subs his defensive unit in and out.
Shane Beamer (South Carolina) has complained to the XII Officiating Crew that Bret Bielema (Illinois) continually has 12 players on the
field without penalty.

The Refs have warned Bielema to speed up the substitutions, which he did for one series, before he returned to the slo-motion exchange
of subs, as the Illini try to alter the rhythm of LaNorris Sellers (Gamecocks QB). It's been heated, to say the least.

The hits have been fierce, the game is low scoring, and the XII Crew have been hearing it from the HCs all game long. I'm surprised it
hasn't come to blows - no exaggeration!

Dillingham does this. It's not against the rules at all

offense opens them up to it when they sub (whenever offense subs, D gets to counter but no time limitation on sending in D Sub)

Thanx for the info. Did you se the game; why was Beamer so upset, like all game long. Was it that he didn't appreciate Bielema's gamesmanship?

Bielema is a notorious a*****e

beamer complained Subs were taking too long, so maybe unsportsmanlike. Kinda like faking injuries

Bielema mocked Beamer for basically being a b***h
