They won 47 games without Durant. That's pretty good.

2 of the top 5 players in the league?

WTF? Since when did Lebron, Durant, Kawhi Leonard, or Anthony Davis join the Thunder? Not to mention Chris Paul, James Harden, Giannis Antekoumpo, Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, etc.

George had arguably his best season ever and didn't finish in the top 40 in PER. He's a good 2 way player, but he's not as good as Kawhi Leonard.

I'm not even sure they have 1 of the top 5 players in the league. Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, and Lebron James are far and away the best players in the league. After that, I think it's a close call between Paul and Westbrook - Paul is a better true PG while Westbrook is a better rebounder and defender (not a better defender in 2016 though). Westbrook's stats were inflated this year because he was chasing triple doubles so his teammates let him get every rebound on FT attempts and almost every uncontested rebound, and his usage rate was off the charts.

Uhh I was responding to Durants comments that OKC roster was s**t after Russ and Durant.

lol. AD is a great player, but not top 5, at least not yet. Westbrook did a great job with that team last year, very few players can carry their teams to the playoffs, and he did just that. and if you win the MVP award, you are a top 5 player, i dont even know how you can argue against that, but you tried, although not too successfully.

you tell which of those players when they won the MVP weren't at least a top 5 player in the league.

Honestly I don't know why ppl argue over top 5 players. The difference between 4th-5th best player and 7th-8th best player is usually marginal and comes down to preference.

I didn't say Westbrook wasn't a top 5 player - I just said it was close between him and Paul and really up to preference.

On that list, Steve Nash for sure. Similar to Westbrook in 2017, Nash was a great player offensively but a liability defensively. It's not that Westbrook can't play defense, but he was chasing stats all year and chose not to contest shots so he could put himself in position to grab rebounds and conserve energy for offense.

If you don't think AD is a top 5 player in the league, there's no point discussing basketball with you. His 2 way impact is up there with Lebron, Kawhi, and Durant. It's not his fault he has a weak team around him.

That's fair and I have no problem with people listing Paul or Westbrook as a top 5 player, but George is nowhere close to them.

3 ball dominant player in Thunder very interesting.
Greatest offseason of all time. I don't think anything will ever top it.

Chris Paul from Clippers to Rockets.
Jimmy Butler from Bulls to Wolves.
Paul George from Pacers to Thunder.
Gordan Hayward leaves Utah and signs with Celtics.
Kyrie Irving/Isaiah Thomas swap places between Cleveland/Boston.
Carmelo Anthony from Knicks to Thunder.

Did I miss any?

His main knocks are he has not won anything, and he has been injury prone. That and the crazy brow situation
