The names look good on paper. I have some doubt whether they will play well together though. Still think they are behind the Dubs, Spurs, and possibly the Rockets.
Don't forget defense. Melo is one of the worst defensive player. Not sure you can hide his defensive deficiencies with Steven Adams.
You can with Adams, PG, and Roberson starting next to him. Plus, when he won't be asked to be the no. 1 option on offense - he will have more energy on defense.
Again, it depends on if he buys into it. All 3 guys can be FAs at the end of the season - so they may not be invested in this long term. That can hurt them.
At this stage of his career, is Wade really a plus player? He's ok to have for the right price, but he does not move the needle anymore imo.
He averaged over 18 ppg in under 30mpg for Chicago last season.
Spurs and Warriors wanted to sign him. I think he's still a damn good player and to get a player like him on a minimum deal is a steal. Both him and Rose on minimum deals is amazing value for Cavs.
