Phil Jackson is crazy.

Knicks have asked for Devin Booker and the #4 pick from Phoenix for Kristaps Porzingis - Ha Ha Ha. He is good but trust me not that good

I'd be fine with the Suns giving up pretty much anyone besides Booker to get Porzingis though. A Booker/Porzingis duo would be fun to watch and a great core to build around. Two young, very smart, high IQ players that are all about the business on the court.

Rumor is Butler is pushing Bulls to trade him to Cavs.

Plz make this happen.

Rather have Butler than PG.

Out of curiosity and outside for having more years on the contract, why? I think they are both elite two way players but PG is the better creator, spot up shooter and you can run the offense through him as he is a threat to score from anywhere whereas Butler is not much of a threat from deep...

Butler is a better defender...he's more of a grinder and his outside shot is good enough. Butler is known for being one of the hardest working players in the NBA - I think he's gonna get better as well. Plus, PG likely gonna leave next season...so that makes a big difference.

...and Butler is pretty good created as well.

I don't think he has been 1st Team All defense yet. Paul George was prior to his injury and then came back the very next year and landed on the 2nd team All defense along with Jimmy. I'm not saying Butler is or isn't a better defender, but he has yet to accomplish what PG has and they were both on the 2nd team last year. I admire his work ethic though. Butler definitely has that grinding mentality but aside from more years on his contract, I don't think he fits better than PG.

I agree Jimmy don't have the range as PG. PG is a much better outside shooter compared to Butler. Economically he is a better fit because he got 2 years on his contract compared to a 1 year rental.

I am really surprised Celtics has been pretty quite they have the most ammunition they haven't inquire any star player. They can outbid Cleveland and any other team. If I am Ainge I would pull the trigger they are a player or two away from competing against the Cavs.

So KD is re-signing with Golden State? So basically the 2018 season is over, Golden State wins back-to-back over Cavs.

Yes...it's over.

that team won't stay together after 2018, book it

I think Ainge has to pull the trigger at some point. three 1st rounders next year another four in 2019. They will more than likely had Jackson this year in the draft and with Jaylen Brown coming into his own, that may be what is keeping Ainge grounded at this point. That and the risk of course of not being able to overtake CLE and PG13 leaving next year after giving up valuable assets for him this year.

Would be a terrible trade if they weren't the lakers. But this helps em land Paul George and who knows maybe even Lebron next year
Supposedly Knicks are asking for the moon and the stars from teams for Porzingis. They asked the Suns for Booker and Pick #4, they asked the Lakers for Ingram and Pick #2.

Laker Nation: I'm looking forward to being a mentor to D'Angelo Russell on and off the court.

Lakers reddit is heated right now lol
Damn that Mozgov contract was one horrible deal.

But, D'Lo to off load that? That's tough. Could have traded picks in the future or gotten something better in return than a late 1st.
