Not really. Even if he walks after a year they got to pawn off Oladipo's bloated contract on someone and will have plenty of space to go after other players.

For a guy of George's caliber they basically gave up five cents on the dollar.

Sounds like Rudy Gay is nearing a deal with San Antonio.

That should take them out of the Iggy sweepstakes.

They never was on the sweepstakes's do you think Spurs would pay Iggy around 16-18 a year same as Kawhi and Simmons coming back on just 9 mill a year. 3 SF too much for one position imo.

Spurs have only 9 mill under the cap anyway, unless they make more moves. The would love to have Iggy I'm sure, but he is out of their price range.

If Lebron heads west next year then NBA might as well just rename the East the "JV Conference". But then again, James might be perfectly happy staying in a conference where he knows he can sit/rest 25 games and still be practically guaranteed a cakewalk to the Finals, rather than risk running the West gauntlet.

Started off with a bang but kind of a snooze fest today.

Rubio to Utah is happening? Guess that means George Hill is gone.

Replacing a black point guard with a white point guard. Its like Bill Belichick is running the team.

Rubio is Spanish...
Heat are apparently the favorites to land Hayward because he'll have a "feature scoring role" and a "better lifestyle."

Such a dumbass report. He's a featured scorer for Utah already and better lifestyle is just a personal preference.

And I'm Eastern European. Both me and Rubio are still white European in spite of both our ancestors having mixed with various Middle Eastern and Asian groups. People in Spain typically identify as white. Italians and Greeks also go under white as well.

I think it has far more to do with the bold. I love going to Utah. If you're an outdoor fanatic there are tons of things to do but it isn't difficult to see how the lifestyle in Miami would he incredibly appealing to a young and super wealthy athlete and especially to his wife.

All that other stuff is eyewash, the lifestyle factor is the biggest one, not having state income taxes ain't bad either.

OKC with Paul George+Westbrook and a couple decent additions to the bench is better than any West team except for GS and possibly the Spurs. I think you're underestimating what a perfect fit George is for that team.

They got a Kevin Durant light with that signing, imo. Good fit on paper. Let's see how they play together.
