Good signing by the Spurs. Gay fits well.

I don't know. Never really saw Gay as a player who is effective without the ball in his hands. One good thing is at least we have a go-to player when Leonard sits because Aldridge doesn't want none of that "take over the game when it matters" s**t.

My thoughts exactly, nice pickup for them.

Good luck to Gay, that Achilles is tough to comeback from.

To me that is a steal for Detroit. I would have thought Ainge could get more for Bradley but teams knew he had to move salary.

Good trade for Detroit, but in the process they'll also lose KCP as they just renounced him and he's an unrestricted free agent now
Trading Bradley their best defender not sure if the Celtics gain anything from the Cavs. They will have better scoring threat from Hayward but on defense not really sure unless Tatum and Brown develop. IT is one of the worst defensive player last year and Hayward is not exactly a defensive player. I think it's a terrible trade for Celtics. I rather trade Crowder. Brown and Tatum can fill in his position.

Judging by last years finals, it doesnt look like anyone gives a s**t about defense, or willl anytime soon. At this pace all playoff records will be shattered. Like an all-star game out there.

Not really Cavs are a terrible defensive team that's the reason why they lost. Defense majority of the time wins championship just ask the Spurs. Dubs are one of the top defensive team last year that is the reason why they are that good. I don't know how the Celtics will hide ITs weakness usually Bradley guards the other teams best player. If I am the Celtics my first question is whose gonna guard Wall and Irving during playoffs?

Cavs had a historically great post-season in terms of offensive efficiency. They were #1 in that category during the playoffs, even ahead of the Dubs.

The finals were a high scoring affair, but the Dubs played very good defense. Cavs scored anyways mostly because LeBron and Kyrie have an uncanny ability to score on contested attempts.

Difference was that the Dubs limited easy baskets. The Cavs on the other hand got lit in transition and frequently broke down in the half court giving up uncontest shots and layups. You didn't see these defensive breakdowns from the Dubs.

That is a great trade for DET

This was a cool trade for the Detrout Pistons.
So Bos couldnt or didnt want to pay the tax or move Crowder instead to fit Hayward in? And still have Brown and Tatum develop? If they were gonna lose Bradley, how bout Butler in his place? Their offseason is a bit of a head scratcher to me.

A ball stopper who thinks he is way better than he is. And yes, doesn't offer up much else when he is not isolated on the baseline. Curious how he meshes with Pop

Boston is going to be a boring offense that will be based on Thomas heavily dribbling the ball most of the clock on a one-pass offense. He will probably have high numbers in assists only because he will be the only one passing the ball. Other players will probably have low FG percentages due to shooting the ball out of position while the clock runs down.
f**king Knicks

Almost $200 mil tied up in Noah, Courtney Lee and Tim Hardaway Jr
