I've seen Fultz play a few times in college. To me, best comparison may be Derrick Rose? Rose was damn good before the injury. But I'm a little surprised he was the consensus number once choice.

Ya, Rose was vicious around the rim. Westbrook is basically the healthy version of Rose.

I don't know much about fultz. Saw him play twice.

But I say rose because of the score first PG mentality. Fultz is an explosive athlete, and he has been vicious around the rim in college. He's also built like Rose to me. D Wade was a two guard through and through, even being relatively short. Did he bring the ball up and initiate?

Reason I ask is that he made some explosive athletic plays in college. I think he is a better athlete than comes off? Maybe because of his "laid back" demeanor on the court. A lot different than the energy bunny type like Westbrook.

Yeah he doesnt look like hes exerting much energy at all but he is athletic. Thats what i mean by the silky smooth. Very fluid. Dont see the energy like a westbrook or early Rose or even lottery pick Dennis Smith Jr.

Through the summer league all the top picks have looked great. Even guys towards the end of the draft and 2nd round playing real well (Kuzma,Bolden)

Gotta see how these guys play against grown men though. Not these players that will be in the G-League or no league at all

He's not as lengthy as Ariza. I'd say a taller matt barnes. He can shoot better than both of aforementioned. If he can develop into a guy that can guard low post, watch out. D will be his biggest weakness out of gate. He's gonna get shoved around on the boards too by bigger guys.
