Id want to leave also when an idiot superstar is allowed to hijack and run the team his way.

3 straight NBA finals with him. Basura without him.

3 straight NBA finals with him. Basura without him.

Clearly LeBron is the problem with that whole franchise.

King of the 2nd place trophies...maybe Kyrie realized LeBron is more about getting there but not finishing

Yeah, dude clearly sucks because he couldn't win against a 73 win team from the previous year that added one of the top 3 players in the game in an effort to beat him.

Yea, he should have averaged a quadruple double in the finals, he totally sucks.

Yea he's done such a terrible job taking them to 3 straight finals.

Thats not the point. Just the fact that your peer seems like your boss sometimes is enough for a player to leave. They went to the finals because lebron is the best player in the world and is on the team, not because he is running the show. Who knows, maybe he prevented some titles with his antics.

Without lebron on that team they are one of the worst teams in the league with a lame duck coach. The rest of the bunch beside Kyrie aren't that good.

This, everyone well most know he's gonna leave. Build around Kyrie even tho that team won't get nowhere with him being the focal point.

I agree with everything you said except Lebron preventing titles. Kyrie was hurt in 2015 and he didn't really show up in 2017 but there was no beating the 2017 GSW team.

Let's not forget how much Kyrie owes Lebron. He was still a star before Lebron came back but he was irrelevant. Just another good player on a crappy team. Now he's a champion and has played in 3 straight finals. He would never have been able to do that as the "focal point" of any team.

In how many of those finals was his team the favorite to win it all? How many times was his team completely outclassed by the opponent, especially the early Cavs teams when he had guys like Larry Hughes and Bobbie Gibson backing him up?

And screw you for making me defend LeBron.
Cavs were -130 in the minutes Lebron was on bench and Kyrie was running the offense last season.

Yea...sucks for Kyrie to not be the man.

Sounds like he's perfect for New York.
As usual in these situations, there are probably multiple reasons. I do think that Irving probably wants to get out of James shadow some (basketball wise). It may bother him that he never seems to be in the MVP convo. But I think a big reason is that the benefits of playing on a James team (deep playoff runs, always in the chase for a title) are not enough anymore to deal with an egocentric diva. How many times in the Finals did James do the matador ole defense as someone dunked almost right in his face, and proceed to start pointing fingers at teammates. Every time? Seemed like it. If he would just stop whining all the time, and blaming others, and take some accountability ... perhaps this wouldn't be happening. And what about his FO / coach meddling, getting his sub par talented friends paid. Just seems too high maintenance, and that can wear on you. And then to have to deal with 'The Decision 3' that is dominating the news. I think Irving got his ring and title, and has had it with LeBron's act.

Like this...

How many players have went to 7 straight finals? There's no questioning Lebron's legacy. If Kyrie leaves I'm glad I'm sick of seeing GS vs Clv every year but he'll probably never see the Finals again.
Bucks should be all over this Kyrie trade. Wouldn't it be fun to see Kyrie with Giannis? Bucks has a few players they can trade Brogdon, Parker, and Middleton not sure if that's gonna be enough but they have some good young players.

Another interesting trade are the 76ers they have a few young guys that might interest the Cavs especially Ben Simmons his been working out with LBJ.

LeBron has a NTC and I highly doubt he agrees to a trade to a team that just had to give up significant assets to get him.
