2009: Tyreke over Steph Curry and DeMar DeRozan
2010: DMC (No blame here. Best talent left on the board, but issues of his mentality came to fruition) over Paul George and Gordon Hayward.
2011: Biyombo, traded on draft night. Ended up with Jimmer, lol. Klay and Kawahi still on the board. Got IT 60th but traded him for literal s**t despite flashing talent.
2012: Thomas Robinson. Lillard and Drummond still on the board.
2013: Ben McLamore. Weak draft, but CJ McCollum went 2 picks later.
2014: Stauskas, lol. Warren or LaVine would have been better picks.

'15 draft and up is prolly too young to judge, and obviously hindsight is 20/20, but had they played the draft right they wouldn't 'just start' rebuilding mode, they'd be pushing for a title.

PG: Steph
SG: McCollum
SF: Kawahi
PF: DMC
C: Drummond

Just because they suck and have a high pick doesn't mean they're in rebuild. Since Vivek took over, they have been obsessed with an eighth seed and that was their goal. Trading their only asset signaled a full rebuild, where the goal wasn't to squeak in the playoffs.
I'd trade him for Wiggins. LBJ is gone next year, it's over, get yourself someone you can build around.

Wiggins was probably the worst defender in the entire league getting 30+ minutes a game.

Don't really want him for Kyrie.
Kyrie-gate is best part of this off season..

lol Lebron
He's probably gonna end up staying

They also had and then waived Hasan Whiteside. So add IT and Whiteside as backups.

lol Lebron

I think this has been one of the most dramatic off season that I have seen for the NBA. So many stars are being moved. Many interesting trades and contract signing. When you thought the off season is almost over here comes Kyrie with a dramatic twist lol.

It's okay though because they weren't trying to rebuild anymore after they drafted DMC. They wanted just enough talent to barely make the 8th seed.

After Vivek took over they just wanted to make the playoffs. That was their goal up until the all-star break last year. Is that incorrect in your world

You just posted draft picks and said "see they were rebuilding." I guess every team drafts players so they are all rebuilding

First year w/ Vlade at GM they added Bellenelli, Kosta, Gay, Collision... vets to make a playoff run. Is that a rebuild in your world?

Yeah, it's an attempt at rebuilding a team through trades and free agents rather than focusing purely on the draft.

oh... a nomenclature thing... Yeah, I meant rebuild as from ground up via draft. By your definition though, wouldn't every team be rebuilding every year essentially?

Also, you my boy, but I found it hilarious you did a revisionist all-star draft on your first post. Hindsight is 20/20 right
How funny would it be if the cavs traded kyrie to the lakers.

Just to mess with lebron. Like "check." Your move lol

Why would Lakers trade for Kyrie? They just drafted Lonzo.

No wonder the Wolves cant win games. They have one of the worst center defenders and one of the worst wing defenders
