You're right, they didn't bend over.

They stripped themselves down and spread their own cheeks.

So the Celtics go from...

IT / Bradley / Crowder / Johnson / Horford

To...

Irving / Brown / Hayward / Morris / Horford

And the Cavs go from...

Irving / Smith / Lebron / Love / Thompson

To...

IT / Smith / Lebron / Love / Thompson

I'd say that trade works for both parties, and in the Celtics case they arguably better than last season lineup wise. In the Cavs case they get Crowder who is a good defensive player and if they get Tatum or Brooklyn's pick next year that sets them up well if/when Lebron leaves (e.g. Thomas / Smith? / Crowder or Tatum / Love / Thompson - plus whoever the Brooklyn pick nets them.
Two years of Kyrie Irving, who doesn't even want to be in Cleveland, for a star point guard, one of the best contracts in the league, and a top 5 pick in 2018.

How anyone could say this is anything but highway robbery is beyond me. Cavs won this trade by a mile and a half.
Wtf was that boston.

The Celtics are getting an all star point guard in Irving, plus still have a lot of assets minus the Brooklyn pick (if they give it up) or the talent they send the Cavs way.

Irving / Brown / Hayward / Morris / Horford

That's arguably a better line up than last year's starting lineup. If Wades bought out they could try to persuade him to join them. And next summer if they've got decent cap space they could add another piece, for example imagine if they could form a big three of Irving - Hayward - Cousins, or could do a trade that lands them Davis to join Hayward and Irving. They're getting no worse.

Granted the Brooklyn pick has a lot of value if they suck and it lands first overall again, but who knows, if the Nets do better than expected (remember they've no incentive to lose) then that picks value goes down. Likewise if they throw Tatum to them instead of the pick, maybe he becomes a star, but equally he might just be a decent forward. It's worth the risk to acquire an all star. I appreciate that IT is an all star but he needs a new deal and perhaps they're reluctant to pay him hence this deal.

I don't think they are getting robbed.

IT has one year left and will demand a max deal. Is he really worth a max deal?

Also, no guarantee that pick lands in the top five. The Nets have no incentive to lose, and while I don't see them as a play off team, if they manage 30 plus wins that pick could easily end up being around 10th overall depending on how the lottery works out.
Either dubs beating either of those asses in June

Completely agree with this.

Dont be ridiculous. There is no way the Nets will have the 10th pick.
I think this is good trade for the Cavs at the same time securing their future with the 1st rd. from the Nets. Not sure why the Celtics did this? They shoulda made an offer for Marc Gasol. I think Grizzlies woulda consider a nets 2018 1st rd. and Jae Crowder. I mean Irving is better than IT but not a 1st rd. and Jae Crowder.

Wow, I still can't believe Kyrie asked for a trade. The Cavs are no longer a threat w/o Kyrie.
