Wow LAs D coordinator Pepper Johnson sacked already!

Good. I've been saying it for years now, he's a bum. We deserve a better DC. I'm glad we finally got rid of him.

Finally! That was his first game! They cut a starting lb as well!

ya that LB has been a long time locker room cancer for my Cats and is constantly out of position, good riddance!

I don't think anyone is rooting for it to fail. If anything NFL fans are hoping it forces the NFL to wake up and make a few changes. For example, it seemed like there were way less flags, the games were shorter, and there was a hell of a lot less commercials during each game.

This makes no sense. Anybody that's watching the XFL is an nfl fan. lol Is there supposed to be some secluded American football fans that don't watch the nfl and have just been waiting for a chance to follow the sport?

Most expect it to fail but dont hope it does
Whenever someone gets injured on the field, it should be like old school Madden games and have the ambulance drive onto the field no matter the severity.

This league ain't too bad actually, entertaining enough

That is definitely my favorite logo and I chose their flair on the XFL reddit lol but not happy about it. Hopefully a version of the Demons comes back to Norcal if they expand.

they had some good crowds at AT&T, I remember buying a xfl football when I went

I thought the XFL really looked good. Really entertaining games that wasn't gimmicky like the last go-round. And it looks like that they are considering college freshman. Personally I don't think they should stop there. I think they should get them fresh out of high school. But I disagree with the article though. I don't see the XFL competing in any way with the NFL. If they prove long-term viability I see them competing with the NCAA, especially if they get guys fresh out of high school. The NFL could then modify its rules to mandate two years of college or the XFL.

That's what I was thinking. Players get paid and also get to showcase themselves. NFL should really show intrested in the XFL and hope they do well. It will only benefit the NFL if they can find good players and get more tapes on them
