Can't wait for XFL v3: 3rd Times The Charm, No COVID-19 Edition
Tough luck, they knew the mistakes they made with XFL1, but no one could have imagined what happened in year 2.

Oh, I didn't know this was a dumb people saying dumb s**t convention?
The last aired game saw a 63% decline in viewership from week 1. Less than 1 million viewers tuned into the last aired week.

XFL was failing before the coronavirus put the last nail in the coffin.

Dumb comparison, the last game was between two crappy teams in areas with poor sports support in general (TB and LA)

attendance was high and increasing for several teams.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people were dealing with and worried about COVID at the time.

Means little. Of course tv ratings started out strong then dipped (out of curiousity) who didn't see that coming? What matters is the ratings the station was targeting for the year as well as attendance. (The reported targets were 1.5 for Fox, 700k for ESPN/ FS1). Live attendance rose the 1st 3 weeks then dipped in week 4. It's very premature to judge it either way.

It means a lot .

It followed the exact same trajectory as the 2001 XFL , except it started at a much lower number .

2001 XFL went under and they AVERAGED 3.9 million per week. It only premature if you ignore the math

Edit: 2001 averaged over 23,000 fans per game , 2020'was over 18,000 per game
