I'd assume they'd want any east coast team to have access to an indoor stadium.

I'd almost lay money down on San Antonio or Austin being one of those 8 teams.

San Antonio makes way too much sense. Football loving town. No great college programs. Huge population. Only one major sports team.

I thinl what Vince could do is get these lower tier wrestlers that are "wrestling" famous on a team. That would maybe boost some fanbase. Curious if they make teams that don't have an nfl team
All of this wreaks of Arena football doe.

There's only one thing that will keep the real sport of football in this league from taking off.

Where would you put the 8 teams?
St. Louis, San Diego, and Oakland seem like obvious choices. Portland, San Antonio, Salt Lake City would be possibilities.
Put teams in San Antonio, Birmingham, Memphis along with St Louis, Oakland, Oklahoma City, Orlando, NY/NJ, Portland, Norfolk.
East Division
NY/NJ
Norfolk
Orlando
Central
Birmingham
Memphis
St Louis
West
Portland
Oakland
SA
OKC
I think it's clear they would have two division with four teams each.
- Each team plays their division opponent twice (6) and the non-division opponents once (4) to make up the 10 games.
- Each division sends their top two teams to the playoffs, resulting in three playoff games.

Then how does college football make money?
Despite being one of the few XFL fans the first go around I don't see this time being much better. But I think it's safe to say the on the field product will be much improved. That was the number one problem last time since teams only had a few months to form/practice before the season.
