agree. Lilard has to be aggressive and drive to the paint. they have two guys who only want to shoot 3s and mid range jumpers, and neither are good defenders. Lillard needs a SG next to him that can play solid defense and can get to the rim. Having him and CJ in the backcourt just doesn't work in the playoffs.

I also think it's incredibly hard for a pg to impose his will in a playoff atmosphere consistently. Curry was able to do it because his shooting was insane, but for the most part the physicality ratchets up and it's harder and harder to get good shots. Also why you rarely see a team win a chip (aside from Curry, Isiah) when the PG is your best player.

1. He was 6'9 and not a shooter so the physicality going up only helped him.
2. Game isn't the same as 30 years ago.

that dude was 6-9. I'm talking more about a traditionally sized pg who can't impose his will physically.
