Nah not true. Boy can shoot from mid range. free throw sucks though and 3pt% is average.

He's abandoned shooting anything midrange. The number of shots he's taken from 5-9 ft, 10-14 ft and 15-19 ft has gone each and every year for at least the past 4 years (that's as far as I went back.

5-9 ft has gone from 98 tries, to 85, to 52, to 41 this season.

10-14 ft has done 29, 28, 28, 18

15-19 ft has done 150, 10, 74, 40

Why? Because he sucks at them. He's shot 39.1% from 5-9, 30.1% from 10-14, and 34.6% from 15-19 combined in the past four years. He's shot a total of 743 midrange in 4 years.

Meanwhile, he's shot 1039 shots within 5 ft at a 56.7%.

He can drive, he can't shoot. Always been the case with him. Great player but never developed a shot. That was the scout on him going all back to high school.

I know his form is out of whack and I've always told him "elbow in deep buddy and shoot with your fingers!" but I remember reading a bunch of articles a while back proving that he actually has a decent mid-range jumper. Maybe that was then and this is now. But pretty good % up to 10ft this year and last.

Thibs needs to do what Nellie used to do. Nellie ran the offense and Popovich ran the defense.

Thibs runs a great defense. Let someone run the offense. This is painful to watch.

He's such a terrible fit for this team, I said it when they hired him. I don't think there's a worse coach than him for a young team. They need to fire him before he completely ruins KATs and Wiggins offensive game.
