You asked and I gave you my opinion. I believe Wilt was the better and more dominant player and Russell benefited more from having an amazing team around him when he played the 76ers. MVPs are meaningless in this discussion. Obviously Bill , playing on great Celtics teams, was more likely to win MVPs. I think its actually remarkable that Wilt has only 1 less to be honest.

Not taking anything away from Russell by the way. He was certainly a top 10 player

BTW.. where do you put Lebron? I am not going to go back and look at your posts.

mvps are very relevant to the discussion. If wilt were that much better as the head to head stats suggest, he would have had more titles and mvps.

Sorry I didn't mean to attack your opinion, I did ask for it. Not saying I'm right or you're wrong , just stating my position.

I currently have LeBron 4-5 behind Kareem bill and Jordan and tied with magic who I believe is a good comparison for him in many ways.

Carrying a team to the finals and losing is not unheard of see Barkley also Bron is playing with another all Star in love who's a 20/10 guy away from brons style of play. What's more special is winning it like Kobe did with his group of plumbers or Dirk and his plumbers over brons superteam.

.333 . This is going to be Brons all time record in the finals soon...
Lebron beats this Warriors team, he will be the GOAT.
the "GOAT" doesn't s**t the bed in the NBA Finals the way LeBron did in 2011. He's lost 5 finals series (soon to be 6) in 9 attempts, in the that that's what everyone will remember and that Jordan was undefeated

I agree but he can cancel that out if he beat a stack team.

The problem with LeBron is besides that Miami team he makes everyone around him worse. Jordan on the other hand made everyone better. That's the biggest difference in my eyes.

Na I remember him coming back from 3-1 to beat the best team in NBA history, but to each his own

Who has Lebron made better? Irving? Love? Korver? Smith? Hood? Hill? All have went in reverse since going to Cleveland or gotten better since leaving. Rodney Hood was averaging 15 a game a few months ago. Wade was quite serviceable in Miami. Rose was getting good minutes in Minny.

Oh and how can I forget Jae Crowder in Utah and Boston?
