I'll answer. LeBron has made marginal talents like Mario Chalmers and Boobie Gibson better players. But anyone who is really worth a damn had to defer to the point that their games were almost unrecognizable. The biggest examples of this are the All NBA power forwards who had to completely change their games to play with LeBron. Bosh and Love have been turned into spot up 3 point shooters instead of playing the way they were before.

Oh no you convinced me when you said LBJ ruined IT's career. Had nothing to do with the 2017 offseason hip surgery, or the fact he just had minor surgery on his ever bothersome hip again. Not. At. All.

good points, I think 1 of those 2 is a hof player. (Love)

let me ask you, do you think Durant should get knocked in the all time ranking because he has had moar super , super-teams.

I think about literally every dynasty in NBA history and the cast. Celtics with kg, with Russ, and with bird. Lakers with west, Lakers with magic, Lakers with shaq n Kobe, bad boy pistons, Jordan's bulls, bron's heat and cavs when they had kyrie, Duncan and Robinson spurs, Duncan and kawaii spurs, and now the warriors.

None of those teams are drastically far apart. They all had very complete and competitive rosters.

All that being said to ask this question, if Durant wins 3 or more, does he crack top 10 all time?

well I agree that IT being hurt had nothing to do with bron, I think he's trying to hit a different point home.

Magic and bron both play and played a style of basketball that requires the ball to be in their hands prob 35%-40% of the game. N they make/made it work.
(This is basing possessions on shot attempts turnovers and assists)

This is what I meant by volume stats. It's no surprise when lebron puts up monster numbers when the ball is in his hands nearly half the game.

When he has a Kyrie or a wade that number prob dips a lil, because they both were great iso players that could finish and bron respected them.

Point being that it's hard for a team to get hot and get in rhythm when a lot of their offense relies on 1 to 2 players creating shots. Which is why the early warriors (73 win team) and even this team is unstoppable when they move the ball, same with the early celtics, bulls ect.

Assists doesn't necessarily mean good ball movement

At the end of the day team play matters too. Far too many times on bron led teams I see finger pointing . Bad team defense and bron can play very lazy considering it's the playoffs.

But yeah he can guard all 5 positions like magic n bill could. And yeah he makes so good transition blocks.
JR smith needs to b in the confersation.
at the end of the day JR has ben to 4 strait finals. he lead the cavs to a comback from 3-1 agenst the 73 win warriors. this is jr smiths team and lebrun is just her for the ride. lebrun is to weak on defense and canot be a play mker when needed, and jr smith still carried the team with that bum with him to 4 strait finals.

if JR smith plays well enough for the calves too win this series, he goes down as the goat in my opinion.

lol.
If by some miracle LeBron is able to beat this warriors team with the current team he's got, without Love, without Irving, the debate should be over IMO. wouldn't matter how MANY rings one has in this case. it's the circumstances in which they were won with the adversity presented. but we all know this isn't going to happen, and LeBron haters will use "6 finals losses!!" blah blah blah.

well they wouldn't be lying. That's for sure. Remember LeBron got swept in the finals and lost to the Mavs.

Talk all you want bout his accomplishments but he won't ever be my goat unless he pulls off some crazy s**t.

I agree. This would help his legacy a lot. Idk that he would be my all-time goat, but def top 2-3.

But If he loses like we expect him to, this season doesn't really add much or take away much from his legacy.

after all he's done this post-season, game 7, the constant 40+ points, then beating the warriors with the same team? It doesn't get any more validated than that. even if he has Finals losses and even if he were to have 2 less rings. you just cant ignore the insurmountable circumstances and still look the other way

Sure you can because it doesn't matter if you win in game 4 or 7 what matters is the wins. MJ has more. A lot more. Double the amount to be exact. More Finals MVP's, more regular season MVP's. He averages more ppg in the playoffs, more ppg in the Finals. What exactly is the argument for Lebron? I saw AI carry Philly to the Finals by himself and get blown out too. Is he the GOAT?
