What is the definition of better?
Wade had his most efficient seasons when Lebron was in Miami.
Birdman was picked up from the streets and played significant role in Miami. Boobie Gibson disappeared after Lebron left Cleveland. What have Chalmers and Cole have done since Lebron left Miami?
Shane Battier, Mike Miller, RJ have spoken multiple times how Lebron made their jobs so much easier during late stages of their careers and they were able to postpone retirement.
The fact that several players are willing to take minimum deals to play with Lebron in f**king Cleveland tells me more than some article on ESPN.

Making Mo Williams an all star is a pretty impressive accomplishment too tbh.
Norris Cole and Mario charmers instantly come to mind when this topic comes up. Neither of them have done anything in the league without bron.
Lebron has extended others' careers as well. Kyle Korver would not be able to have the same impact with another team at 37 without lebron. Channing Frye would've been out of the league 3 or 4 years ago. He added another 3 years to shane battier's career when he was old and slow. Old guys that can shoot go from has beens to effective role players by having lebron around them.

He's arguably the greatest passer and facilitator ever. I bet you at least 3 of his teammates this year won't play a game in the nba 2 years from now.

He got Delly and Mozgov huge contracts too. What are they doing now? And...yes Cavs overpaid JR and TT but everyone thought they'd make good money because they played so well. Knicks threw JR Smith in the Shumpert deal and regardless of what JR has done past two years - he played really well the first 2 years.
I believe he taught Kyrie a lot too. The word in the NBA was - Kyrie doesn't play winning basketball. He didn't get along with other players.
Not sure how you can make an argument that he doesn't make others better. When he left Cavs - they went from
66 wins to no. 1 pick in the draft. He comes back - they go from no 1 pick to NBA finals.
Must be doing something right.

Like the rest of the world I highly doubt Lebron saw Irving splitting. Yeah a lot of role players got overpaid but with the cap once the big 3 is set in stone and paid you got limited options. I don't think you can blame him for wanting to keep key role players and I'm sure his teammates appreciate him going to bat for them.

If the Cavs lose this series, how does crying on the bench and giving up in a tie game affect his legacy? That incident might have been the end of these finals.
I had him closing in on Jordan after that game but that raw feed video makes me changes my mind about his 2018 Finals.

Think couple guys in here thought it was super touching and gave him tons of credit for being so in touch w his emotional side when he began to cry DURING a tied basketball game in the finals. Some guys can only help their legacy no matter what actually happens.

My wife was shocked at the crying. I was more surprised at the quitting. Dude should have been firing up his squad rather than moping in silence.
He quit on the game and maybe the series.

GOATs don't pass up the final shot to win the game....especially when everyone makes that excuse that "all his teammates are garbage"
Makes you wonder if the people who continue to entertain this debate know anything about the history of basketball

Kobe literally would have kicked someone's ass in the locker room...
