Lebron could have had what the Warriors have now...if he and Wade weren't so greedy and Bosh wasn't so weak.

In my opinion, Lebron's ego is the biggest thing that has kept him from winning 6+ titles.

How?
Wade got old and washed, Bosh hasn't played in the NBA in years because of his blood clots. Going back and winning a ship in Cleveland cemented his legacy as a top 3 player of all time.

This is silly. Wade/LeBron only worked 2 out 4 years because they aren't a good match at all. Wade was an elite driver with a mid-range game. He's a terrible off ball offensive player. LeBron needs off ball guys. He and Wade succeeded because of how great they both were then. Two of the very best there has been at getting to the rim. Now that Wade has aged, he's worthless on the court with LeBron. We saw that earlier this year. He can't hit a 3.

Yeah, the golden era of the NBA during the 80's and 90's was occupied by plumbers.

Some of the revisionist history to make today's game seem superior is asinine

Facts
Imagine the insane athletes today like Lebron, Westbrook Anthony Davis, Greak Freak play against those plumbers and mailmen. They'd get embarrassed tbh imo fwiw

First of all, it's ridiculous to put modern players in the past and say theyd dominate. Modern players are a result of the evolution of time. They had access to training methods and sports medicine that wasn't available until recently. They also had information resulting from what people learned about the game of basketball in that era. They saw how certain styles of player were defended, and were coached how to beat that strategy.

All these sensitive pace and space "freaks" of the modern day would be fish out of water in the era where hand checking, punishing defense, and half court ball ruled the game. In the 80's and 90's Giannis would've just been a C who played down low. Thats how he would've been coached growing up because of his size.

Without the evolution of the modern game, players' games would all be vastly different. Theyd all have been put into different roles, and had to develop different skillsets.

Jordan was a smaller player playing in a much tougher defensive era. He didn't have the natural advantage of being able to barrell through the paint like a bowling ball like LeBron. Players who attempted to just muscle their way to the basket back then got knocked on their ass. Today its common to see the players clear out of the way because they're all afraid of being on someone's poster.

Jordan played his entire career in the heart of the era where most of the top 50 players of all time played, and he unquestionably was the best player of his era.

TBH they'd all be afraid to drive on Malone less they're ok receiving an elbow or two to the side of the head

Lol the NBA today is easily the most talented it's ever been and it's not close. The average player today is superior physically and athletically than the average player in the 80s and that's a fact. And in 30-40 years that'll be true compared to today. There are so many players back then that wouldn't have a spot on a team today

It's funny watching highlights of the NBA in the 80s and 90s and seeing how slow and inexplosive everyone is compared to today. Bunch of truck drivers and janitors playing back then.

Well, he also said #2....which I am sure you find to be a laughable claim right?
