Agreed. Germans looked slow and lethargic at times. But then again, this is the first game. A long ways to go if you are a German fan.

Props to Mexico for playing a consistent and confident game, but Germany looked like absolute garbage. Very ungerman like. They looked unorganized and completely botched every opportunity they had.

Mexico won this game because of their middle defenders if you ask me. They never gave up and shut the big Germans down in the air. Very impressive

Mexico was the counter-attack machine at 100mph break. Germany wasn't expecting that at all. It created a lot of space and 1v1's. Props to their goalie too.

I'm sure they'll bounce back … I'm not a fan of most European Style(s) of play.
I'll root for España, and Portugal; that's it. For me, style of play is the attraction.

Mexico really should have done more with their opportunities. Their lone goal wasn't even their best chance. They're gonna need to finish better if they're really gonna make noise.
