Nice win but you are 100 % right about the defense. The are getting killed in the middle and cant defend the 3 at all. Ron Adams needs to figure something out because the Warriors cannot win another title playing this kind of D.

Have to hope that Chicago buys out Lopez and he wants to join the Dubs. Cousins and Lopez would shore up the middle and hopefully the Warriors wouldnt have to sag in and let so many guys wide open for easy corner 3s

The defense has been awful. I see a lot of bad switching and sometimes unnecessary double teams. Also there's a lot of confusion leaving an open person on the 3.

Maybe they should just stop switching? The lack of Center is also the primary cause. Looney and Bell are too small.

I think they need to stop double teaming so much. They sag too much and leave guys wide open in the corners. It shouldnt be that hard to stick with your man.

We need Boogie to hurry up and get ready to play. Our lack of a center is killing this team.

The problem is silly turnovers more than defense imo. I seriously cannot believe they have never been able to correct this. With Kerr being a Pop disciple, I wish he could instill the discipline of a Pop team into the Warriors. They would be unbeatable. But as it is, their penchant for the splash play rather than the smart pass will always keep the other team in the game. The defense should shore up if Cousins can come back and be close to what he once was. But I don't have faith in this team ever getting their turnover issue fixed. For a supposedly high IQ team it is really pathetic.

I think its both. The Warriors have always had turnover issues but could overcome them with solid defense. Now they cant because they dont have a dependable big man who can defend the rim and give up way too many wide open 3s.

Cousins has never been a great defender but he would still be a big upgrade over what they have now because of his size. IF he is healthy that is. I still would like to see them add Lopez or another big man for the 15th roster spot if available later on. If they dont have 2 big men to go with Looney I think its going to be tough to win this year.

We miss that Bogut/Mcgee type player that can alter shots for sure, opposing centers are killing them this year.

For all the credit that Myers and the FO conglomerate get, not retaining McGee in favor of Jones is looking like the bone headed move of the year. And I will also say it is looking like he was misused by Kerr here, as he is playing fine without a minutes restriction for the Lakers (over 23 mins a game), at an above average level. I know he might not have ever rehabbed his rep without the Warriors, but a willowy athletic big like that would be SO nice right now. And he was already here. Oh well.

I agree that it would be great to have Javale. I would, however, much rather have a healthy Jones right now instead of Bell. Jones could at least defend in the middle a bit. Bell is worthless right now.

Kerr already admitted last week the youth movement is not working as they wanted to. Sticking with Bell and Jones over McGee and Zaza are affecting the team right now. I didn't have expectations with Jones but Bell regressing pretty much useless is quite surprising he has so many upsides last year.

Even if we didn't keep McGee could at least keep Zaza. At least with Zaza other teams won't punk us in the paint even if he is not a shot blocker. In addition Iggy and Livingston regress especially Shaun. I'm so jealous on how Houston rebuild their bench after a slow start with House Jr. and Rivers. Right now the Warriors has a lot of wasted roster spot reason why the star players has high usage rate cause our bench sucks.
Thought McGee wanted to leave tho

The Warriors never said they didnt want him back. I just think Javale felt that he was never going to get the minutes or credit that he felt deserved and decided to take even less money to go to LA to play with Lebron.
