I wouldnt be surprised at all to see the Lakers and Warriors play in the first round in the playoffs. The West is fricking tough but I do expect the Lakers to grab the 8th seed assuming Lebron comes back soon. Utah is probably their biggest threat for the final spot.

We're gonna end up higher than 8th.

Yea. Last year it was like a 2 game difference. The talent dropoff between teams 3-8 will be minimal, if any. Depending on how teams match up with you, you may find yourself wanting to play a 5 seed over an 8 etc.

At this point the Bulls are being stupid and saying they dont plan on buying him out. I think they will though when they come to their senses and realize how much they will save by doing so.
