The Warriors finally decided to show up after my post, I take full credit for the win!
These kind of soul crushing games will drive AD towards the Lakers tho.
Table was set for a trap game, but now that's a couple nice wins on a back to back. It'll be interesting to see how they look in first game with Cousins.

You would have to think Cousins will be very rusty and there will be a tough adjustment at first. I would guess its going to take 15-20 games before he really is playing up to speed.
Looney has been awesome. Great job on the glass.

I think there were 100 attempts during the rockets/nets game for both teams

It went into overtime.. but still lol

That's the league now

Rockets shot 70, I think 35 in each half. And Harden another 50+ point game, obviously a great player but I can't stand watching him play, to me his game is so tedious and boring...Rockets score 142 pts on only 17 assists, Draymond Green alone had 14 assists tonight.

Ainge has more assets to offer in a trade.

But I'm glad Magic let Randle walk for nothing. He's a bull down low in the paint.

And besides just his health and stamina, it's him meshing with the various rotations, other guys getting used to him, Kerr figuring out what works, what doesn't. It will take a while, but if they can get it all tuned up by last 10 or so games of regular season, I think that will set up nicely for playoffs.

Pelicans have been a very injured team though. They are just getting their better players back.
Can't wait to see how Boogie integrates on the court. I know some will have high expectations, especially with when the 5 all stars share the court. I'm hoping the adjustment goes better than when KD first joined. If anything I think the team (mainly Steph) learned just to play to their strengths and not defer, just because there's another all star on the court.

I'm setting my expectations lower for now so that I'm not disappointed later lol.

Thoughts?

This has been my assumption since Cousins signed with us.

Then this morning, they were saying on 95.7 that Cousins has been actually ready for an entire month. That he was physically ready to go. That gives me more hope that this will be more of a seamless transitions than I originally thought it would be.

Cousins will undoubtedly be on minutes restriction for awhile and ramp up over the coming weeks. So that is a built in excuse to try him out with many different rotation combinations in short stints. My guess would be to use him some with the 2nd unit to beef up the scoring threat. And just his presence on the block should free up shooters in that unit. They should have a real good idea of how to use him by the time he is ready for 30+ mins a game. The only worry I see out of the gate is him being rusty. What I am not worried about is a 6'11" 275 lber with skills coming out of his pores being anything but a plus for this team. The Warriors could not have ordered a better player for their biggest need. Seems unfair #lightyears
Happy boogie day
