What should he have done different to get the Warriors the win tonight? I mean other than have the team shoot better and not turn the ball over so much?
Why didn't he use Bogut or Cousins more when Gasol was in. These guys could have at least help slowing him down a bit. We got beat basically by Gasol and Siakom if you ask me. I am not an expert and don't pretend to be one. But if you have two all stars sitting on the bench and Gasol is torching us, at least use one of them. maybe I am wrong, but that's what I think.
They both could have slowed Gasol much better than the smaller Bell or Looney. I disagree with Bogut being a defensive liability. I think we lost because we were not prepared to defend Siakam or Gasol and that's on Kerr and the coaches. Klay had a terrible game and no one could score except for Steph. Having said that, I think game two will be different.
Siakam had a huge game but there is no way in hell that Bogut, Cousins, or anyone that was on the bench could have stopped him tonight.

Yes it is. Without KD and Iggy I dont see the Dubs winning this. His shooting is off but his importance to the team is so huge.

Kerr was not outcoached. Pretty clear the gameplan was to trap Kawhi off every ball screen like we did with Lillard and make their supporting cast beat us. Just have to tip your cap to Gasol and Siakam. They made the shots.

Gasol hasn't played that well in a while...certainly not since the trade but anyone who watches ball knows what a star the guy was for the Grizzlies. Siakam is an awesome player who was off in the Philly and Bucks series, pretty standard for a young guy in the playoffs. I would expect the Warriors to be able to slow down Pascal next game but Gasol presents some issues for them if he's able to continue to stay on the court when GS goes small. Both of them can shoot the set 3 and they can both hurt you inside. Green can't defend both.

Of course Kerr is a great coach. We are just fans and with extremely limited basketball knowledge. I am the first one to tell you that I am not an expert. I am watching Kerr's post game report and he is admitting that Cousins played well and he is going to reevaluate him for the next game. It's simple, we played bad. That's why we lost. Name a player except for Curry that had a good game?

Raps aren't an iso-heavy team. Portland aren't either but the only two guys who could really score on that team were sharing the same backcourt. Siakam and Kawhi can play and switch multiple positions and Lowry and Van Vleet are both shooting well enough from outside to force you to respect them.

Well, at least this puts to rest the chattering that the Warriors are a better team without Kevin Durant.
