Really just sounds like more gamesmanship from Kerr. He doesn't even sound like he believes himself when he says "full shoot around" and then is very careful with his wording "so he will be listed game time decision." My guess is KD partially tore his achilles and they are terrified of him blowing it completely and knew all along he was out but are trying to keep opponents guessing and will just pay the fine if it ever comes out after the fact. I mean why hasn't he been on the bench?

He hasn't been on the bench, because they want him to get as much treatment as possible - is the only explanation.

There was a picture with KD icing his "calf" and the ice bag was a lot lower than what you'd expect for a calf muscle tear. I think it's closer to the Achilles' tendon than the belly of the calf but not exactly on the Achilles, and that's why it's taking longer to recover. And if it is then there's a higher chance he reagravates the partial tear. I wouldn't play if I were an upcoming free agent.

I don't buy it - if he partially tore his Achilles they wouldn't have him on that foot at all.

This is the pic I was referring to. I think partially tore his Achilles along the musculotendinous junction. Would be dumb to try to come back early from that

I don't think it's exactly on the tendon where the achillies usually tears, I think it's closer to where the tendon and muscle mesh towards the calf. But still worse than a traditional calf strain

If it was an Achilles he would've had surgery by now and no way in hell would he be traveling or even on foot
All I'm saying is look where the ice is and tell me if it looks like it's on the calf. Top arrow is calf, bottom arrow is Achilles. It's lower towards a more tendinous region, not exactly on the Achilles' tendon, but is more towards the Achilles than the calf muscle. Healing takes a lot longer where there's more tendon and less muscle, and it's also easier to reagravate. Just my opinion based on basic anatomy. I could be wrong, I'm honestly solely basing my opinion on where they iced his calf in this picture lol. The second picture is where the Achilles usually ruptures vs where I think his injury is.

the length of that achilles tear is longer than Vals vertical

He hasnt been on the bench because it is against league rules for an inactive player to be. Warriors were warned after Boogie went down that he wasnt allowed to sit on the bench, so he stopped doing it too.
