I don't think it's exactly on the tendon where the achillies usually tears, I think it's closer to where the tendon and muscle mesh towards the calf. But still worse than a traditional calf strain

A strain is a partial tear. They're the same thing. All I'm saying is that I think the location of the strain/partial tear is at an area that heals slower and is more easily aggravated than the belly of the calf. It makes it more tricky than just returning from a muscle belly injury like DMC and Klay did
