How did they let Schlenk go? He wasnt going to take Myers job obviously and he had a chance to be GM in Atlanta.

I wonder though if part of the reason that Jerry moved on was an opportunity to do the same thing in LA that he had done in Oakland... that being to be a consultant and turn a franchise around.

All warriors need to do is stay healthy and make it to the playoffs. Once they get Klay back anything can happen. Clippers have to be the team to beat now, right?

That was misreported. We sent $2M and a 1st Rounder to Memphis.

Golden State Warriors' Joe Lacob says the franchise intends to retire Andre Iguodala's No. 9 jersey, in statement thanking Iguodala.

Bummer, was hoping for a 1st but it's funny how we got all these ex NBA players sons on the team.

Lol maybe one should not blame a son for the sins of the father, but do not want anything associated with Chris Washburn to taint this team.

The owner's son making big decisions makes me nervous, we have a sample of this not working here in the Bay....

What "big decisions" have Kirk Lacob made? Did I miss something about him taking over for Bob Myers?

I feel like they're doing this as some sort of sentimental apology/recognition. I think that it's a tad premature to announce this. I get he was great for us but in a way it's like it's taking out the excitement of retiring a jersey. With the dubs of late it's like handing out candy at Halloween

ok so hypothetically...
let's say the dubs make the playoffs and get bounced in the 2nd round or whatever & dlo plays just as good as he did last season. do we trade him and what would we get for him?
