I think he wished he actually landed a couple shots. Chara was toying with him - even smiling after he got up.

Kane's emotions led to all the drama, but it's good to see him willing to see it through.

Yeah, I love Kane and everything he brings to the team. I think he's going to be a huge weapon in the playoffs again this year. Very happy he signed long term..


Now if only EK65 can do the same....

Its the equivalent of a 6'2 guy fighting a 5'7 guy.

But I don't think 6'2 guys go through life ever having to really worry about being outsized by more than an inch or two. Was probably a big shock to him how much of an advantage some long ass arms and size is lol

Heh. Sharks have been recruiting EK65 like they're in SEC country.
- they brought him in a year early to get more intimate
- Douglas Murray is a good friend, unofficial chaperon, and helping them with connections
- they can offer him the biggest contract
- they changed their playing style for him
- they have lots of Swedes around
- they traded for his good friend Nyquist (though not sure if they can sign him)
- they helped trade Hoffman to the same state as TB (purported contender for EK65)
I think he'll strongly consider other options as well, but seems like SJ has played their cards the best they can.

Only way I see EK leaving is a massive let down early playoff exit and or the fact Cali is too far from his wife's family in Ottawa. I see the location part being the biggest issue because this team will make noise in the playoffs unless Jones s**ts the bed.

I have more confidence in Jones during the playoffs than the regular season lol

1 pt behind Calgary
