Can't lol

It's the personnel

The personnel have their limits, but IMO it's their scheme - it can get predictable and stubborn on offense. It could be the final minutes of game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals and everyone knows DeBoer will have them go low to high and try a screened shot.

Classic DeBoer un-response game.
He went totally limp on the goon game and set nothing up for the next game. The chess equivalent of moving your knight in a circle while the opponent closes in on the king.
The only saving grace was EK65's man-sized effort. And that seemed more of him saying "Give me that d*mn puck!"

I thought he made some good plays, two assist but he also made some bad ones too. I think he could have played better. The entire defense and power play.

I thought he looked banged up early in the game too.

Very worrying because DeBoer now only has four Dmen he trusts. Unless he gives two of Ryan/Heed/Middleton some serious minutes, the top four guys are going to be gassed.

Unless his groin is still bothering him, I think he got gassed after period 1. Started taking shortcuts. Burns too. Also, no Vlasic and Ryan on a short leash probably meant more minutes. Somehow during all of this, Braun found the energy to lead rushes by himself.

Not true, there are some minor things they can tweak to give the Knights some different looks and hopefully open up some better chances moving forward

IMO been the same since Thornton came aboard and has not looked different in the playoffs regardless of coach. Wilson, McCellan, or Deboer

I don't think we can play any worse than last game and we nearly beat them if not for a horrendous goal reversal and penalty.

If Jones can be better, I think we win.

Yeah, DeBoer will probably put heavier minutes on the top 4 D. So, if they go full throttle with hitting, gooning, and rushing, they better make it count while they're still fresh. Otherwise, if the score gets out of hand, they'll get gassed.

IMO some keys are:
- Forwards need to set the physical tone and mix it up. Keep Vegas busy with their offensive zone shenanigans.
- Whoever's in goal needs to be decent enough.
- Would be great if Heed balls out.
- Give EK65 the d*mn puck! Not sure if he plans to resign, but he's playing like someone who's putting it all on the line.

Yep and we need Timo big time!

Jones confirmed the goalie, lets all hope he is on his head tonight.
