Karlsson is so walking after the inevitable happens with this damn Vegas team. I'm so pissed at Wilson for extending deboer, it frustrates me beyond belief how much time Wilson gives coaches after constant failures and his damn hires. Could've had trotz or quenneville and he keeps f**king deboer with his flawed defense and his staff with that atrocious pp. how many damn times can you continue to give up goals to this same team in less than a min 9 times out of 17 since their existence?

I agree. When Justin Braun is leading breaks in game 85, you know that the system is broken. And he keeps Melker and Goodrow for their PK skills. You'd think they'd be using those skills against Vegas' top lines during even strength. But no, they always get matched with Vegas' 4th line where their defense isn't needed and don't do anything to curb the goon game. Maybe Thornton complaining next to Wilson during game 4 will trigger some emergency changes like last fall.

As for EK65, I think he was always expecting to leave or won't know until he considers all options in the offseason. Best case may be if Wilson told EK65 that they'll talk in the offseason, he's prepared to give him max money, and he's prepared to build around EK65 (new players, new coaches).

Yeah, NYR is probably the top contender. They can't max out like SJ can, but it's a young team and the area may be a good fit for family reasons.
