Jones has been no bueno but damn dude walked to the net with no resistance. GK is just an awful matchup for the Sharks, they have no answer for them, especially in Vegas.

Jones has always been the weak link, dude can't stop s**t

DeBoer changed the system last offseason to copy Vegas. Kind of like Harbaugh in '12, he decided splash plays were to key to a chip. Jones was always so-so, but he suffered the most from the system change.

I'm not disagreeing about Jones being awful. He has no confidence and he is inability to make any type of saves early and late in periods is killing any chances they have of being successful. This game was the game to start Dell and PD wouldn't pull the trigger, too late now for any adjustments feels like.

But the rest of the team hasn't been good either. They made a nice push in that period but couldn't score and injuries and lack of communication on the ice is making the defense look lost far too often.

Sometimes Goalies can be a sparkplug for the entire team. You saw it last game with Fleury, he made an incredible stop on a breakaway, two mins later, Vegas scored. They can be a catalyst for momentum for your team and Jones is sucking the confidence out of everyone.

Things are back to normal and I actually like the way we are playing we just need a break through. I am curious why EK65 is so tentative on the puck exiting our zone, he has done that multiple times turning it over.
