I agree. It might've worked out if Haley played like Reaves and bullied that top line. But Haley doesn't and DeBoer never sends him against them anyway. It's like he hopes Haley can draw penalties on Reaves or something. The only good thing Haley did was draw that game 1 Stasny penalty when he was messing with Fleury. It would've been great if he could've kept messing with Fleury after the game 2 interference call. Sharks got kind of soft with Fleury until recently. If they want to survive game 6, IMO they'll need to go hard to the hole and make Fleury's pads eat sticks.

Fleury gets rattled when he gets scored on, having the likes of Pavs, timo, jumbo or hertl in front of him making him feel uncomfortable is the way and just cashing in when he's flopping all around. There has been so many goals missed this series when he's been flopping that they haven't cashed in. The good thing is fleury has been very beatable all series, score first and often Sunday and we can at least have 4 goals min. We can't afford to have that crowd loud early and having Vegas play with the lead, that's just asking for handshakes after the game. Whenever we give up a goal to Vegas early it's a wrap because you can expect an onslaught coming since we get blown out everytime we lose to them in Vegas.

I think the defensive focus in game 5 is the right approach. Scoring first will help a lot. If not, I think the keys are to keep the tighter formations, avoid the high risk passes, and barrel to the net nonstop. I think it'll take 60+ minutes of a controlled and relatively conservative puck possession game if they want to see game 7.

Since I said this in my other group, I'll say it in this. Now I do have all the faith in my Knights on Sunday. And I'll think we will be victorious. If for some reason the Sharks pull it out the series is OVER. The sharks will take game 7 easily, and I will cry like a little girl

If the Sharks can somehow pull this series off we'll have home ice for the rest of the western conference playoffs

Sharks brought their B game in period 1. Steady, but a bit leaky. They should ditch the slap shots, just flip it to the net. Still, good that they got one on the board.

It's only gonna get harder now with the long 2nd period shifts. Hope they can keep their wits and make the right play, not the big play.

Jones has just played to his abilities, which I think is all they can ask of him.
Defense had a bunch of miscommunications, leaving guys wide open. I want to say Thornton was a key culprit the last 8 min.

True, although he doesn't seem to be seeing the puck coming through traffic when the defense does their jobs. Got lucky a couple of times there.
