Who the hell is that who picked up Mcglinchey . Sign him now.

Looks like Douglas Murray, former Sharks defenseman. He's a strong dude. Didn't know he was this strong.

Haha. I didn't investigate the picture and just assumed it was Crankshaft, the plus sized Swede. Apparently, good buddies with EK65 too.

Love Vlasic. He's so god damned reliable and getting him back got Jones more confident and allowed the sharks to get him more help and turned the series around.

Gotta give Jones a ton of credit, I was wrong about him. It takes some huge balls to hang in there, take your licks and come back stronger.

After game 4 I had no confidence in Jones. I think it was the second goal tonight, Jones should have had that one, but his confidence has to be back now. Vlassic is such a good defensive dman and brings balance to the D corp with Burns and EK being the playmakers. Getting him back in this series was huge.

He benefited when they got into elimination. DeBoer started playing more conservative, which is good for Jones' style. He did revert to some bad habits in the last 18 min, but mostly got away unscathed (except the 4th goal). Overall, he did great considering the holes in the defense.

you're probably thinking of the third goal where jones had to slide a little bit and let the goal in through the 5 hole. second goal was the bs goal with the high stick from eakin. i thought he held up well outside of that slightly soft goal, i was impressed by the glove save
So I am watching the third period over again and it sure seems like the Knights are headhunting Pavelski. He takes some big hits minutes before the big penatly on Eakin.

Stone rocked him one.

Stastny, before the faceoff the penatly, essentially punches Pavs hard right in his chin, where his mouth is obviously f**ked.

Faceoff, Eakin clearly cross checks Pavelski.

Crosscheck definition
: to obstruct in ice hockey by thrusting one's stick held in both hands across an opponent's face or body

That is what happened. Stastny makes no effort to avoid Pavs, in fact he goes for Pav's face once again just like he did the play before.

It started with Eakin, his crosscheck put Pavs in a defenseless position and Stastny didnt give a f**k and hammered him and tried to hurt him (multiple times).... Stastny is a f**king douchebag.

Seeing Jumbo hold Pavelski and escort him off the ice gives me the feels...

Yes you are right, it was the third goal that he should have had. That was a backbreaker of a goal...at the time.

I do agree that they seemed to be targeting Pavelski before that. Kind of like psychological warfare. I thought it was unnecessary given the score, how dominant they had been, how much faster they were, and how non-threatening the Sharks offense was (and still would've been). I'm okay with Gallant playing dirty, but his over-aggressiveness that period blew up on him.

That said, IMO Stasny didn't realize how off balance Pavelski was - I think he thought Pavelski was just trying to pick him. Stasny was definitely trying to be rough. I think his intention was to swim and push past Pavelski. But, Pavelski was off balance from the cross check to the sternum and the swim and push ended up as a head push to the ice. I think one factor in the 4 PP goals was that even Vegas was a bit shook by how freaky that injury was. My guess is that Pavelski's helmet/shield cut his face and/or stitches in his mouth burst.

We deserved at least a goal or two before all that stuff went down. Vegas just suck for allowing us to score that many goals that quickly
Just woke up and last night wasn't a dream! f**k yeah!!!!

Just watched the OT winner again to get my day going. Better than a cup of coffee.
