***Offical Vegas Golden Knights 2019-2020 NHL Season***

Eichel is no longer practicing with the red jersey. They say he will be back soon, but the speculation is waiting until he's back on home ice. So March 7th probably.

I'm still not sure about Stone.
Well, got an update on Stone. f**k. I heard it was a lacerated spleen. Not 💯 on that.

This is very unique. A sports franchise that has virtually given up building through the draft

I think we have traded every first round pick we've had, or player that we used a 1st for, then traded him away. I'm going to check on this.

Wow this auto correct screwed be lol

Brisson* only 1st round pick still with franchise and from 2017-2026, the retained only 2024 1st

I mean I don't hate it. Very unique strategy

I think if proves draft picks are over valued in nhl. Unless you're drafting in top 5, who knows how a pick turns out years later

you're drafting 18 year olds when most won't crack nhl until 23

Yea I was confused with what you were trying to say. Lol

Brisson is the only 1st round pick we have kept so far from the 2020 NHL draft, of course he could end up being traded. And we do currently have our 1st round pick for 2024. But no first round pick is safe with VGK.

I think it's smart. They are betting all in that trading/FA can build . Probably knowing players want to be in Vegas

Dallas stars GM took over our team after ownership went bankrupt. We had no good prospects other than Benn and Klingberg. GM made a ton of trades, we got competitive right away. Then he built through the draft once we were a winning culture

I bet Vegas starts to go that route after 1-3 more seasons. Trading aging pieces for picks/prospects to add to an already winning culture

losing cultures like Buffalo are so hard to change
Btw my Vegas story

was there recently for work so played poker

1/3 no limit

im Big, dealt 10/10

next player calls.

everyone folds but dealer, raises to 30. Me and 2nd player call.

Flop Q/10/5

I raise 50, 2nd player calls. 3rd player goes all in.

I call. 2nd player calls. I'm big stack but it's about $1000 each

All-in player shows 5/5

turn J

River J

2nd player has Q/J and wins

(and why I was playing 1/3 is only game available. Bought in at $300 and built big stack to 1200)
